Benson Museum of Local History

Come and step into another time. The Benson Museum of Local History was established in 1987 to collect, preserve, and display items of historical significance related to the Benson area. The museum, which was originally located in the Benson Municipal Building, is now located on Main Street. Visitors will see exhibits on a variety of subjects including Benson’s agricultural heritage, our founding fathers, country doctors plus many more. So come visit us. Experience life from our early days, and learn about how Benson’s past has made it the great community it is today.
