Exercise Room / Game Room / Facility Use
Our exercise room and game room have been in operation for over two years
now. We are proud to offer this service to the citizens of Benson and
the surrounding communities. Anyone who wishes to do so has the opportunity
to become a member and have use of the equipment for our shuffleboard
courts, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and sand volleyball court. Membership
also includes our indoor games, game equipment and exercise equipment.
Our indoor games consist of billiards, foosball, table tennis, air hockey
and shuffleboard. Our exercise equipment includes weights, treadmills,
stationary bikes, stair climbers and multi-sport elliptic. We have everything
you need to get started, so why not stop by the Benson Civic Center and
see for yourself all that we have to offer. There is a registration process
to become a member. You must be at least 16 years of age and have parental
approval (16 and 17 years old) to be able to use the exercise equipment
or go into the exercise room. Children ages 7-11 do not require a membership
but are allowed use of the game room only and only if their parent, grandparent
or legal guardian, who must be a registered member, accompanies them.
Children ages 12 - 15 are required to have a membership and may use the
game room only with supervision by a registered member at least 16 years
of age. The initial enrollment fee for residents is $10.00 per person
and $20.00 for a family. For non-residents, the initial enrollment fee
