Waste Water Treatment Plant

The Town of Benson operates an 1.9 MGD Waste Water Treatment Plant. This plant treats wastewater from the Town. For information about the treatment process or tour of facilities, contact the water plant.

To report any changes or problems with drinking water (discoloration, taste or odor), treatment plant at 894-2373.

Water/Sewer Service

To transfer service from one location to another location in the City, a fee of $5.00 is required. If the transfer will require more than 10 days a new meter deposit of $50.00 or $100.00 will be required.

To activate an existing service for a residence or business, come to the Finance Office at City Hall. A meter deposit is required to begin service. Please visit the Public Works section of our site for more information.
